The South Jersey Bulldogs Baseball Organization (SJB) is a non-profit group of baseball clubs that are dedicated to the pursuit and achievement of a higher-level of baseball for our members. The SJB members are baseball players ages 9 - 17.
The SJB currently consists of 10 separate baseball clubs from ages 10 - 17. Each team contains 12 - 15 members. Each team plays local league play as well as many in-state and out-of-state tournaments. The teams practice and play 12 months out of the year. The teams are headquartered out of the Sandlot Academy in Sicklerville, New Jersey. Funds to operate the teams are collected from the parents and from generous donations throughout the local communities.
The main goal of the SJB is to promote character and teamwork through organized baseball. Most of the players are also the members of other baseball teams to include township baseball teams, middle school and high school teams. Each player must learn to become a team player and work hard to maintain not only their status on the baseball team but also good grades in school. Ultimately, the SJB strives to produce quality baseball players for the middle school and high school levels and for all of the organization’s players to become solid members of their schools and community.
Tryouts ar held every year in late July and early August. For more information about the SJB organization, please email lhamby@sandlotsjersey.com.
